So much food! Apparently our $6.75 breakfast is too big to fit on google. 2 eggs, sausage, homemade biscuits and gravy, home fries, and lots of love. Only available at the hermitage cafe. The only way to end your night in Nashville!

Why pay $8+ elsewhere for 1 biscuit and gravy when you can come to the historic hermitage cafe and get 2 biscuits with gravy for $3.25!!! Open nightly 10pm until 1:30pm the next day! Stop by and eat at a restaurant with real character and history!

Special thanks to The Tennessean and USA Today for placing us in the top 5 places to eat late night in Nashville. Why pay more somewhere else when you can come eat great food at a family owned cafe! Plenty of home fries and sass to go around. Come sing us a song on the jukebox! Where else can you...

Historic diner. No frills, just good food and good folks. Perfect spot for a Quick lunch, breakfast served all day. Jukebox on the wall and a wait staff that will keep you laughing. One of the few Nashville landmarks still standing downtown. If those walls could talk. Go see Momma TT and have yourself some bacon, eggs and home fries anytime between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. open all night.

The biscuits and gravy are the best. Visiting from out of town and ate breakfast there two mornings in a row! Eggs cooked perfectly. Definitely a "diner" feel. Would visit there in a heartbeat if in town. Very reasonably priced!

Went into one of my favorite, and among the few locally-owned breakfast spots left in downtown Nash to support restaurants hurt so badly by these troubled times. The staff called me out for not having a mask upon entry (my fault, I genuinely forgot I had one ... I showed it to her and told her that), which I have no issue with, as that is the mandate. Yet, most of the employees working or neither of the customers paying at the register were wearing them over their mouth and / or nose. I asked why this was and they said, ‘they have a mask with them’. I asked what good it was to have them if you didn’t wear them? They refused me service. I am truly saddened by the state of affairs where staples of this city like The Hermitage Cafe have regressed to this level of analysis, and am Praying for our country and small businesses like Hermitage Cafe (thus the 5-star review, I am not out to hurt them) to survive amidst these wild and non-sensical times. God bless you all and may God Bl...

Great food, a great price, & good times

While other diners and fly by night restaurants try to compare. Nothing beats character and taste all at a reasonable price. Why pay $8 for biscuits and gravy when you can get that and more here for half the cost. You never know who will show up at the hermitage cafe!
